Learn Front-End Game Coding with Pixi

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
This workshop will introduce you to the Pixi JavaScript library for creating browser-based games. You'll code a classic breakout-style game from scratch using the Pixi API and JavaScript. You'll also see how to organize your Pixi-based JavaScript through closures.

Pixi uses WebGL or HTML5 Canvas under the covers depending on your device, freeing you from the need to learn either, but its API leverages all the same concepts in order to provide the best performance.

Workshop attendees will need to provide their own computer with Chrome web browser installed.
